A Melbourne demolition company was running their crew on spreadsheets and group chats. We built them a custom app to replace all of it — job tracking, crew allocations, clock-in/out, and payroll exports, all in one place.
Reddy 2 Demo runs demolition crews across multiple job sites in Melbourne. Like a lot of trade businesses, they were getting by on spreadsheets, whiteboards, and group chats. Job assignments would get buried in message threads. Hours tracking was done manually. At the end of the week, someone had to sit down and piece it all together just to run payroll.
The owner wanted one place to see what was actually going on — which crew members were where, what jobs were running, how many hours had been clocked. And it had to work on phones, because no one on a demolition site is sitting at a desk.
We built them a custom web app from scratch — nothing off-the-shelf, nothing that needed to be bent to fit. Just the features they actually use, laid out the way they work.
It's a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means it installs on any phone straight from the browser — home screen icon, full-screen mode, no App Store required. Crew clock in and out from their phones. The admin sees live hours and job allocations from the dashboard. Payroll exports take one click.
Everything the owner needs to know, first thing in the morning — who's on what job, hours clocked so far, and what's coming up tomorrow.
Create jobs, track progress, log expenses, upload photos and files, and post site updates. Everything attached to the job it belongs to.
Assign crew to jobs with start times and notes. See who's where at a glance. Change it when plans change.
Crew tap in and out from their phones. The admin sees hours across all jobs as they're clocked — no more chasing people for timesheets.
Add new crew or deactivate old accounts in seconds. The owner handles it all himself — no IT people, no waiting.
Pick a date range, hit export. You get a clean CSV with everything payroll needs — no manual adding up, no spreadsheet wrestling.
Add it to your phone from the browser and it works like a proper app — home screen icon, full screen, the lot. iOS and Android, no App Store involved. The crew picked it up without any training.
If you're running a trade or small business on spreadsheets and group chats, there's a better way. Tell us what you need — we'll build it.
